Sub-metering, pre-payment & vending services

The Xtopel sub-metering, prepayment and vending system is an independent bill payment interface between a facility tenants electricity meters and ECGs Special Load Tarriff (SLT) meters.  The strength of the STS prepayment and vending management solution is in its capability to collect electricity bills from SLT downstream tenants/users before electricity is consumed.

The solution therefore seeks to address the challenge of unscientific measurement of power consumption, ease the challenge of manual billing from monitoring meters and further bills distribution to tenants, establish equitable distribution of power based on individual consumption, eliminate the chasing of tenants for unpaid bills of power already consumed and eliminate discontent of billing because of unconventional methods of bill calculation such as floor-areas. Overall, it transfers the consumption, control, and payment of power to tenants.

PRE-INSTALLATION WIRING ASSESSMENT SERVICES

Xtopel undertakes an assessment of the customer’s existing wiring infrastructure to establish its suitability for separate metering and submit a report with recommended solutions to clients. This service is performed at no cost to clients.

 

SEPARATE WIRING SERVICES

Xtopel undertakes separate wiring services for facilities that were not constructed with separate wiring in mind, a capability fundamental to separate metering under sub-metering. Under such circumstances, Xtopel will deploy its experienced electrical technicians to undertake this activity at fee mutually agreed with clients.
